PHOTOCHARTING

A while ago I discovered photocharting...  and it's great fun!  I have made so many, that I've lost count.  A few examples are shown here.

The best part of it is that you can modify picture to look just the way you want them.  As you can see, I've stitched some in greyscale...  where as the actual photograph that I made the charts from where in colour.

"Dad Fishing" is actually from a painting.  Again, I changed the colours (painting mainly in blues and greys) - and I'm really chuffed with the result!!!

At the bottom of the page, there is a link to a free program that you can download, and try to make your own photocharts.  It is not the one that I use, but just for a try, it's more than good enough...  and if you like what it can do, you might want to invest in a better one.

"Woodland Beauty"

If you click on the picture of "Woodland Beauty", you'll be taken to PC Stitch.  There you can get a free download of their pattern generator - and you'll be on your way to creating your very own photocharts!!!
